I’d be laughing harder if it weren’t so true.
Anytime I try to explain Twitter to someone who doesn’t use it, I am always struck by how ridiculous the thing I’m describing sounds. Just like anything whose value is quantified experientially, I didn’t know I needed it until I had it….though it’d be a stretch to say that Twitter is anywhere near something I need. I’m embarrassed I even typed that sentence.
Whatever. All that is just a rambling preamble to this video of Ben Stiller and Mickey Rooney talking Twitter. Enjoy (and thanks, @gahlord).
Our daughter’s new favorite game– which, incidentally, is our cat’s least favorite game– is seeing how long she can hold onto our cat’s tail. It sounds innocuous enough, sure– but the real excitement comes from thrashing said tail about like an errant whip. Yipeee. Priceless expressions on both faces.
Of course, cat loses since daughter doesn’t fully comprehend the concept of NO yet. The only way to end the game without bloodshed is to scoot cat outside. I can only assume that cat grows grumbles out there on the back porch, confused, thinking WTF? What the hell did I do? That yelping ginger brat tugs on my shit and I get the boot? Is there no justice? Where’s the ASPCA when you really need them….. etc.
Well, I may have come across the perfect panacea for all cat’s woes:
Although, as the feline masseuse cautioned: either they like this, or they don’t. I guess there’s only one way to find out, huh? Ok, wish me luck. I’m going in.
